Low Altitiude Attitude Turbo Settings.

Seeing what everyone is using for low altitude Attitude turbo boc settings of 800 motor.

Im using a Push PG with 09 800 motor. Want to see what everyone else is running. Share your settings as well as fuel being used.

It still amazes me how little information is out there regarding running these things down low. I would think getting in touch with Ken @ PUSH would be your best bet, as he must know something about low altitude operation being from Minnesota, but maybe that is easier said then done? Keep us up to speed on how that thing runs this winter. I am very interested to see in the stock injectors can keep up with the fuel demands down low. Its great to see some other mid-west guys attempting to run boost this winter which should help grow the seemingly limited knowledge base that is out there.

What are you planning to run fuel wise?

I have ran the same kit you have on a 2010 at 800-4000ft.

You will need a lower boost actuator, you buy one from Twisted or off ebay.

You can run 6-8 psi with the 2010 stock injectors. I think the 09 injectors supply less fuel.

Shoot for 6-7 psi.
100 Octane Avgass
Fuel Presure at 38 psi to start.

I think Dakota perf just ports the exhaust port on turbo a little instead of the low psi acu. Might want to check into that?

Weak sauce big time if that was tha case. I can not get a read on that company, as you hear little to nothing about them throughout the season, but they have a booth at haydays every year, and seem to be pushing inovation and trying new things year after year. I look forward to seeing how it all pans out over the next few years. Maybe they simply lack a solid marketing strategy?

Back to the topic at hand, low altitude fueling. There has to be some information/experience out there. Hello norway/sweden/alaska guys! I know you guys are running this stuff seccussfully at low altitudes, spill the beans! LOL:face-icon-small-hap I wouldnt mind seeing a thread specifically dedicated to low land setups. The demand for info seems to be there.

Low cr head, m1000 injectors on oem rail, BD racegas kit with intercooler and walbro 255lph pump in tank, 25% 100LL and 91oct pump fuel, good tuning = 240,6hp @ 14,8psi @sealevel

hey all, am running a twisted ras gas setup @ 1800ft
6-9 psi on 100 octane (75% 112 and 25% 91 pump)

runs hard and has had no issues :) super happy with it

Mod 800 is that a m8 or ?

I ran a 2010 m8 w/ Push tial PG kit, stock head, 2 deg. key, and race pump. I have been running 8 psi with 100% 100LL at 800-1000 ft elev. Ran great all year last year 1500 ish miles. Only thing I did was replace the reeds at about 1000 miles.:biggrin1:

I'm also interested in low altitude turbo set up. I live around 1800-2000 Feet in Saskatchewan. I'm going to be running AV gas through mine, with 7psi. Hopefully i dont have any detonation. Might need to upgrade my fuel pump/injectors though.

But in the winter i'm moving to the mountains so i'll be running around 6000+

I never ran without the key. I was told to run the 2010 head but at low elevation I would need to back off the timing. Works great!
