Lost my first QD Belt at 545mi

It finally happened to me. My first issue on this sled. I ran clamped from day 1. I checked and rechecked my pulley bolts. I have tossed snow on my upper hot pulley many many times. I've still got heat there, so i know there is an issue in this design (obviously).

I will say this, i suppose it was self induced. Came over a rise with speed, real big hole in front of me - had to go WOT and landed in the hole real hard, skis up. CHUNK CHUNK CHUNK. Stripped of 8 teeth. Good thing EphrataFarmer came over the ridge a little later and had an extra belt on him. Guess i'll be buying another spare as well as the Happy Face tools.

Glad it all worked out, we did find some really great snow and some great pulls didn't we. Good riding with ya. Remember extra belt in back pack. lol

yep, already ordered the tools and an extra belt! The snow was great on the back of scatter.
