Just finishing mine, staying at it right after college was the smartest thing I did!

Went out shoppin for a laptop computer today. Gotta get it at Staples (some contract between them and WSIB) anyhow are there any of them I should avoid? Kinda out of my element here, so any help would be appreciated.

I have an HP and have had decent luck with it. Mule is right, IBM is awesome, LENOVO's are what the govt. is using, and we liked ours before they made us get hp's. Just about all the brands are putting out good computers right now, but you get what you pay for. Don't cheap out on ram if you are gonna have vista, 2gb barely keeps it snappy.

I will tell you though, my next laptop will be a mac. Can run both leopard and xp vista on it, and quility is second to none, but once again expensive...

Typin this on the brand new Toshiba. Not a bad deal, show up have the staff dude pick out the best machine for the job, tack on a bunch of other stuff. Show em all a piece of paper and walk out with a brand new 'puter.
