I was on ebay and ran across this item #280406596548. Scroll down through his pictures, looks like alot of good sleds getting parted out, does not make any sense to me that a guy has that many sleds and is parting them all out. Maybe it's just me

It is a little odd that the ebay ad posted isn't actually for anything.

There is decent money in parting out machines, in fact, you can make a living doing it if you do it full time.

One picture has a 08-09 blue xp in it turned on it's side and I cann't for the life of me see any damage to the sled, if it is indeed a totaled sled you would think the front end or the tunnel be bent or something but all of those sleds and parts that I see are all good

I dunno...the hood on the XP says "won't open".
Might be from a boneyard. Who knows.

But it does look a little fishy.

However...you can see registration stickers on a couple of tunnels. That'd be STUPID to try and part out stolen stuff with that thing CLEARLY visible.

i dunno a friend of mine bought 2 new can am outlanders and parted them out from new and came out really good on them all he wanted was the motors so i dunno another way to think about it is if ya have a loan on that crap the bank would never know if you parted it all out but the tunnel....

blue doo has alot of damage. the back of the tunnel. the front took a hiy at the belly pan

You cant see damage? Look at the shocks, look at the belly pan, there's all kinds of stress tears in the blue plastic where its turned white

Those look like damaged or written off sleds, can't fiqure why the hood won't open on the xp? mine almost falls off while riding.

Deffinately buying salvage/repo sleds and parting them out. Heck last winter I parted out my 05 XC700 and got $4800 out of the parts. Had it for sale on here for 2 months for $3k OBO and never even got a look.
