Saturday ride

I am up for a preston run on saturday. Sorry i bailed on you guys for last weekend, but i started a remodel project on the house and had to work all weekend on it. I am off to a conference in sun valley tomorrow and won't be back until Friday afternoon......but hey it's for work and somebody has to do it. (grin) anyways i am thinking meeting in town around 730 am and heading down to the Emigrant parking lot. Should be a good powder day. Kyle did you get the rev? Sledhauler and Dizzodoo....I will call you when i get back in town on Friday.

Hey guys. No I didn't get the REV sucks huh. I am probably just going to have to ride my old one for awhile. I probably won't be able to go tomarrow because I don't get off work until 8, but if anyone is going to go next weekend I am off. Have fun and let me know how it was.

I'm good with preston (imagrant) on sat. heading to I.P. on sunday for the carnival thing they got going on. so where, when and who are up for grabs. i have a 2 place with an open slot unless spud already called it.

have they been getting an snow down there this last couple weeks? not much around here so just wondering.

Saturday ride

Spud- Sledhauler called me @ 7:45 tonight. He said he called your house but talked to your son. SH didn't know U were riding Preston tomorrow. He and I made plans to meet at Inman at 9. He is going to bring the bike. How much more powder in Preston than Inman? Not sure how late he is up but if U talk to him and U get him to go to Preston call me or have SH call me so we can meet to load up. Otherwise I will be at Inman @ 9. I won't have internet in the morning so I PM my # to you last week.

sooooo this is "advance planning crew" huh? maybe we should try to get the plan together a little earlier... hahha

so I'm good with going to preston, inman, crystal... i'm planning on taking the bike so i can leave the sled home and have an extra place on the trailer. not sure where the snow bank for load/unload would be. maybe holt area parking lot has snow piles???? bet so and it's close to your house.

so did you guys make it down to Preston today? spudnut I was kind of watching for you but didn't see ya. All I half to say is awesome day. rode until I was out of gas, then had to come home.

We were there.

We reached the parking lot at 1020, I ended up parking right next to your truck. We rode all over and as far as Blommington Lake, got back to the parking lot around 530pm. Sled Hauler was on his snow-bike, it did realy good even with the way sledhauler rides. (grin)

I was wondering if that might of been your truck. was his bike orange? because I did see a orange bike, I'm trying to remember where I seen it thought. We went to bloomington and then some and back, also. got back to the truck around 3:30

K so thanks I think... not! The ride was good. the sun was out and the bike was blue like the sky. had a great day other than blowing a fork seal. 60+ miles on the GPS... tons of terrain.

met tons of cool folks today and had fun with the old guy as our guide.

thats cool. i would have been hard to see today cause i was off in the tight trees where no sled could go. thinkin of changing my name to tree hauler like SPUD suggested but for other reasons... the bike thing is new to me but i gotta say it rips in most conditions like today. couple things to work out but damn it was fun slicen' and dicen' thru the trees.

SH - Mad skills on the bike. Thanks for hauling the blocks of ice for our drinks. If you get a chance to ride a hawk i would be currious of your likes and dislikes of each.

Spud- Thanks for the belt adjustment. I am taking the sled to Todd's on Wednesday. They said it would be done for the weekend. Hopefully the weather pattern changes soon cause I need a powder day.

The Island park trip got cancelled. So i am heading down to Preston, hope to be on the road by 7:30. Should be in the Emigrant parking lot around 9:00 to 9:30.
