Looking to ride on the 27th. Pocatello Area

New to the forum and to the SE Idaho riding scene and am wondering if I can tag along on Saturday? Used to ride in the Logan, Timberlakes, Guardsman areas but the economy took out my riding group. Having the sled sit is killing me and it's to risky to ride alone. I am always up to chip in for gas as well. I have a truck but no trailer, yet. Let me know if this works for anyone.

I am planing on riding Inman tomorrow. I need to go by the ski doo shop in the morning to pick up some more oil. Let me know if you want to meet up and ride.

Thanks for the reply Spudnut. I have heard good things about Inman. Sorry for the late post just got to a computer. Do you want to meet at Bob's?
I need to go to the shop as well. I tried tonight but they closed early. I think they open at 9. This is my first ride of the season but the snow will be epic. I have my sled in the back of the truck. What's your transport set up? I'll check this thread later tonight and in the morning.

I hooked up with Bob and his group from the Doo shop and went up to Inman. We had some newbies but had a blast. The newbies did great. Looking to ride on New Years Day and on Saturday the 3rd. Email me your # to dskayak@yahoo.com and I will email mine to you.

thinking wednesday for a ride

Hey Sledhauler.....heck i had almost forgot about that tree/cluvert thingy ya did.....(grin)....I am still running the straight mineral oil in mine...but have 2 more gallons now. I have to take my truck to the shop tomorrow to get some work done but am up for a Wednesday ride......Dizzodoo....glad ya still got to go ride...Inman was really good on friday and am sure saturday rocked also. I would be up for a new years day ride also....depending on weather we will figure out a place to go....heck the tree hauler can come on that day also.

Hey guys looking for some new riding partners. One of my riding buddies is laid up and the other one went and sold his sled, I know stupid mistake. Anyway if you guys have a group riding up Innman or Pocatello area on wed, or thurs I should be able to go if you don't mind someone tagging along.

so the ride thing: i'm going to go with or without partners the next couple days. i'm always happy to take someone who can ride and has a sled that can make it up and down the mtn... and pull mine if something goes wrong. ha I'm only headed to places that avoid any angle that lends to a avy. not looking to be one of the people we are starting to read about, but figure there are some good high meadows and small areas with enough trees to offer safe riding. if that sounds good to you guys, count me in and let me know when and where to be.

spud, i can pick you and the sled up if you want. took the bike mount off the trailer and would share one of my slick super mounts. not that ghetto pull out ramp and screw type bar thing. j/k

Wednesday 830 am Century high parking lot

Lets plan for 830 am at the century high parking lot. Kyle you can join if you would like. If the weather is good lets go to either preston or we can unload at ant canyon and run the trail over to the imgrant pass parking lot. If the weather is crappy we can ride Inman. I am not sure if my son is going to go or not, i will ask him when he gets home tonight.

Doesn't matter

Sledhauler - I have only ridden Inman around here. Even then it was mostly on the trail. I am up for wherever. Last year I rode mostly up Logan canyon @ Tony's, Franklin & Bever Creek. If you know any good spots with low avy risk but not trail riding let me know. Pounding powder in the meadows is always fun when the hills are to risky.

Let me know where and what time to meet and I will be there. I have my sled in the bed of a single cab Chev, but no trailer.

Kyle- If you don't go on Wed any plans on Thurs & or Sat?
