I am not looking for ViPec OPINIONS, I am looking for guys whom are buyers of different systems that use the ViPec and their first-hand feedback....If your Mom's cousins sister rode with a guy who knew someone that has one, go post on the I DONT GIVE A CRAP ABOUT YOUR THOUGHTS thread

I would also love to hear some feedback, I have a 2011 Boondocker turbo and have had the hardest time to get it to run good, I am sick of messing with the fuel box. I am really thinkin about getting the vipec.

I have a vipec on my sled it is great. I have had on since last year at first we couldn't get it to work 100% but with some help from Cody Phillips it runs awesome now. The capabilites are endless, and there is nothing that compares. If you decide to go this route i would suggest Cody as he is very good at tuning these, and a great guy to work with.

Unless BD or someone else took the time to build a map for your specific sled year, kit, injectors, etc, you would be on your own with a laptop and trial and error to get it working. The vipec is not a plug it in and magically it works box. It is super advanced, but the map still needs to be built for it to work for EACH application.

I rode with Cody today. we had the silber turbo kit with a vipec box's, and his turbo sled. We had a great time today. My thought and opinions on the silber kit with the vipec. I have rode the silber before with out the vipec and you can not compare the two, the vipec sled was 100% better all the way around, in and out of the throttle was very smooth. came off the line awesome. you could get in and out of the throttle and and not have it hiccup. Cody's sled was unbelievable! that thing was the funnest turbo sled i have ever rode. he has a much nicer turbo in it so you dont get any turbo lag. it was like riding a stock sled that had way to much power. The first time i got on this thing and held it wide open it scared me.:face-icon-small-sho ya it is that fast and smooth, if not smoother than a stock sled. all smiles from me:face-icon-small-hap cant wait to get a turbo on my sled and i will with out a doubt i will be running vipec and i will have cody tune my sled. thanks again to cody he is the man

Bill, we're offering a MONEY BACK GUARANTEE for guys just like you!!! No risk to you. No more pushing buttons, getting it to run well, then turning the sled off and having it run poorly again. You just won't have those issues. I got a vipec and a tune I can load up for you and get you on your way!

Thanks Jake, you just make it looks so easy :)

Cody,
I sent you an email about controlling my NOS, Silber, and Q16 as opposed to Maximal a bit ago. Hopefully chat in the a.m.. Peolpe, these Vipecs are awesome with the correct people tuning them!

for what it is worth....here is another 18 minutes videos of a flatland (300 ft) hm turbo 2011 pro rmk 163 at 8lbs on 91 octane with more than 4000km(with a fresh set of reeds, original pistons). The video is also avalable in another thread(hm turbo bad reeds) in the polaris turbo section. in this video.I am holding the throttle steady at 6500-7000 rpm for 2.5 km stretch on a groom trail......typical riding over here, temp was -20 celsius yesterday....no laptop also(as usual!!)

Pretty sweet!! Runs like a stocker with twice the power!!! Pretty impressive!! I'm getting bad thoughts for next summer!!:face-icon-small-sho

Firsthand report...finally got to unleash the beast

You know the song Jesus Built My Hotrod, by Ministry?
( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GXCh9OhDiCI for those of you heathens that dont know music)

WELL, it appears he builds snowmobiles TOO! AND, he isnt dead, he lives in Lolo Montana...Dang-alang-a-DINGDONG.

The fit and finish of my build is one thing...exemplary.

Shane started with a 2013 black RMK stocker. He then built a water-to-air intercooled aerocharged beast, Machined heads, machined clutch, clutched as well as adjusted the shock for my fact arse...loaded a box with goodies such as belts and redline oil and sent it off to me. I was all in about $20k, which considering a stocker with taxes in Canada will run you $16k or more (without the spare blets and cover and plugs and 2trk oil etc).

It arrives, and I go away fro a month...but finally I got to unleash last weekend.

Now to give you perspective;
1) I already own an intercooled HM 2011 with aerocharger controller - I63 CE and all the goodies
2) I in no way get any kickbacks or am in anyway affiliated with HM

The sled farking RIPS. I thought I simply had a ****e eating grin, but I later found out I had pooped my pants.

Throttle response;
linear power curve that feels like the stock response, only like riding it on pavement...it just snaps off the line, but then you have this seemingly endless topend. I could keep it pinned because it wants to throw you off the back. Its not becasue of bad track distribution from overpower, it just feels like you cant rein it in...

When you get into the thick of the trees, you've turned down and stopped facing downhill, but want to go up...the power is there in an instant. I dont NOT notice lag...and im very acutely tuned to noticing lag.

You can be in and out of the throttle as much as you want, as often as you want...but then squeeze it when you need it, and it's all there...in spades.

His exhaust system had guys on the hill fooled. No gauges or any visible sign of turbo...and because the sled wasnt drowning everyone out with a mass of noise, people were very confused as to how I was going up lines the fairies that like to spend the whole day DOWNHILLING THEIR SLEDS (what's that all about) were making. No one was trying to go up that ****e. 3ft of fresh snow on a deep soft base - and I'm going up stuff no one was going up. Into the trees and I was riding like there was 6inchs of snow on a set-up base.

Also, he has built an airbox that draws from under the stock gauge through snowfilters...and the sled is completely vented as well. Underhood temperatures were far better than my stock 2011.

It just rips.

My 2011 is getting Vipec'd too now...I didnt have the patience with it previously...you'd pull up a hill, go to the bottom and pull again, and because it was hotter, it wouldnt run the same. Push some buttons, scratch your head, go into some tough terrain and get stuck...not on the 2013!

This thing just runs constant, perfect...the driven clutch could be held by your hand after 15 minutes of pulling and ripping in the trees. My stocker used to hiss if snow touched it under the same circumstances.

THe Vipec'd HM turbo has lived up to EVERYTHING I hoped it would. I had people PM'ing me warning me that I was going to be dissapointed. That there will always be lag and that was always going to make it less userfriendly in tight conditions. I completely disagree having ridden it.

Pick holes in what I am saying all you want peoples...but I am telling you, this is my take on this machine.
