I love this place! Most forums it's like pulling teeth to get advice!
We were going to go to Cooke (I even made the wife drive thru there this summer to check it out on a road trip), but I've read that you can't get insurance on rental sleds there. Is that true?
The Snowies sound good, but the West Yellowstone is sounding like the place to try. Most of our group are skiers, so being an hour away from a world class ski resort like Big Sky is an added bonus. And the prices of rentals in the area are quite a bit cheaper than Togwotee! There also looks like there are a number of rental places, so we can try different manufacturers sleds on different days!
What is a good place to rent from, and where is the best place to stay? Since we're renting, we'd need to be able to ride right from the rental place or our lodging.
Also, what are the choice riding areas?
