I know its pretty straight forward because I installed it once but I remember the instructions being helpful. Know where I can find a copy?

Is there some different cat skid plates available? I'm trying to install one right now and it doesn't seem to wanna snug up flush. It seems like #36 is in the way. Am I doing something wrong? Frick it should be pretty straight forward.

Crap. Looks like they might have sent me the wrong one. What part number do I need for my '13 m800? I got 5639-893.

You have to take off the rotor skid plate and the chain case skid plate off, even still it's a pain in the rear to install trust me!! Install centre torques screws first then drill your holes and install from front to back so that the slack is picked up at the back, remember to mark and cut out where foot well is. Happy installing:)

Noop, if you have the right one you don't need to take anything off. I even managed to put the little skidplate that comes with the racewerx mnt bumper there too :D
But as said there are diffrent versions for 12 and the others

What is the hole in the center of skid plate on the M8000? Drain for the motor?

The M6000 is a PITA. It just flat doesnt around the exhaust. I think they forgot that it is different than the 800 because they dont have a different skid plate. I just took a jig saw and went to trimming on my wifes 600. Once i hacked it up it fit ok.
