Looking for Shaun Keller of Mountain Tech Motorsports

Before X-mas I was trying to buy a Speedwerx Fat Daddy Single Pipe from Speedwerx for a 07 M1000 when John @ Speedwerx told me they were out. I asked him if he had any dealers that I could pick one up from and he immediately told me about Shaun Keller from Mountain Tech Motorsports in Utah. I called and ordered the pipe and it was shipped promptly and after I had installed a couple of mods to my sled, the last install was the pipe. I soon realized that it was wrong. I had been sent an M8 pipe and called Shaun and he said that he would send me a pipe and a UPS call tag to pick up the wrong part. That was 3 weeks ago. Over 30 phone calls have been placed with at least 15 messages placed on his answering machine.(801-294-5017). The voice on the recording even says that "your call is important to us." Isn't that quite the joke! If anyone has a different phone number or e-mail address for this guy please pm me. Be careful in dealing with him or mountain tech motorsports because they are not friendly to the riding establishment! Shaun, if you read this, do the right and respectable thing. Either refund my money or send me the right pipe.

Shaun Keller

Good luck getting anything out of this guy.I ordered a seat for my 1M from him two years ago,put it on my credit card immediatly.I waited for a couple of months then tried to call, just like you said nothing but answering service saying how important your call is. Finally did get ahold of him and got some story that the seat got sent to North Dakota instead of Alberta Canada. He said he would sent me a boss seat from someone else and phone with a tracking number. Never hear a word from him again and like you have left dozen of messages.I guess this is just normal buisness practice for him, thanks for the 650.00 dollar lesson Shaun really hope to run into you somewhere, maybe we could get a whole group together and say HI.

He is usually at the snow show in SLC, but I don't show him having space this year on the map I have.

Interestingly - his brother Scott at RPM in Woods Cross has lost his Arctic Cat franchise and it's moved to Full Throttle in "Centervillen" as well... but he (RPM) does show as having floor space this year. Scott is a good guy though - times are tough - I don't wish ill on anyone as it can happen to any one of us!

He is rebuilding the bottom end on my M1000 right now as we speak. He came highly recommended from some other riders here in utah. He has been nothing but awesome with me. He is hard to get a hold of because he is either in his shop or on the mountain. I know that's no excuse. He never checks his messages because he is so busy. That's the one complaint that I have about him. I just keep calling him until he answers. Here is his personal cell phone that he uses now (801) 309-8290. Don't tell him I gave it to you. I am sure he will make it right with you. If you cant get a hold of him let me know and when I am there at his shop this week I will call you and hand him my phone:face-icon-small-win
