Looking for riding partners around Redding

Hi my names Darin, I live in Redding. I was hoping I could find someone to ride with on weekends this year. I'd say I'm a mid level rider. Almost all of my riding has been up in Tahoe, Ive only rode at Deer Mtn once. So I dont know my way around the parks around here. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Deer is a cool spot. I live in Paradise. I ride Shasta to South lake. Chester has some good stuff too. PM me if you want to ride or meet up sometime.

I'm in Red Bluff and usually ride the Mineral/Chester area, with the ocasional trip to Shasta. I'm a mid level rider too.

We might be headed to Shasta this Saturday. PM me if your interested.

Lets get together makaio. My daughter booked Saturday up for me with a competition she has so we will have to try another weekend then. If there's enough snow ill go hang around a parking lot on Sunday. Is there riding at Shasta yet? I saw you posted in another thread about going back up. What area were yu planning on heading to?

We will be launching out of Bunny Flat on Shasta. Plenty of snow, very few hazard obstacles that I saw. It's about 12 miles outside of Mt. Shasta City. The trail from the parking lot takes you right up to the old ski bowl. It was my first time to that location last week and it's pretty cool, and I bet it's off the hook when the powder is deep. All the sledders there were way cool too. Some of the skiers that use sleds to get to the top, not so much.

Just shoot me a PM when you want to try and hook up to ride. If I don't have any meetings or special projects at work I can do middle of the week rides too. I try to ride at least once a week when we have snow, if not 2 or 3 times if I can find a riding partner.

Cool, I know where Bunny Flats is. Ill head up there Sunday and give her a ride. My work schedule is M-F from 5:30am till around 3 so I can't get out on weekdays unless I take the day off. Getting time off isn't much of a problem as long as I give a week or two notice. Thanks for the tip.

Yes, you could get a 26' enclosed turned around in there if you get there before lot fills up. I got there around 10 and there was still room. By noon when I rode back to my truck the lot was packed with Subarus that could have made it a lot more difficult.

Look for the group Redding Sno-Riders. They have a fairly large group of riders of all skill levels.
