Looking for Riding Buddies & Advice for Lake Tahoe/Squaw/Truckee 3/28-4/1

Hi Everyone,

I'm coming down to Squaw from Oregon on Monday to spend a week with some old college friends. Figured I'd bring my sled and hope to find some people to ride with since none of my college buddies ride.

Anyone up for a ride this coming week and/or providing some insight into where to ride and other people I might be able to ride with?

I'm an experienced rider (8 years) with a well maintained 09 m1000 w/ 162 track and all the avy safety gear (beacon and float pack).

Looking for riding partners and info on off-trail areas to ride close to Squaw village. Loooks like Blackwood Canyon might be my best bet in terms of being close? Is that a good place for off-trail boondocking?
