Looks like you're gonna be heading back home down to Star Valley quite a bit then, there isn't much to ride around Casper let alone anything you'd probably consider challenging .... at least not if you're used to riding the western part of the state

Casper Mountain is nice to go for a quick spin on because its a 15 minute drive from town, but its basically a residential suburb of Casper these days. You are only allowed to ride about 1/3 by my estimate of what you used to be able to ride 15,20 years ago, either because of land being bought up or beause the skiiers have taken it over. There is still Muddy mountain, but you're still sort of limited back there IMO unless its just a phenomenal snow year.

Most folks from Casper usually ride the Madres or Snowies from the west side, Tog, etc .... Might check out the Snow Gypsies web site and join up with them too.
