I'm thinking about ordering skins new front suspension for my M1100T.
I've sent them an email. No response yet.
I've looked on there website. Not a lot of info there.
Before I order I'd like more or as much info as possible.
Is it any lighter?
How far forward did they move the spindle?
I wish they would have made it a 38" stance. How come its 37"?
Does anyone know more about this stuff.

Thanks

If you guys are looking at the concept front suspension here is a video on youtube on it.

They have it on a skidoo xp but I am pretty sure the concept is the same for the cat and yamaha. It just moves the front end out and in to better balance the sled. There are a couple videos on it that they made.

Stock shocks ok IF...

stock shocks if you have the 38" front end.. 17" centerline

Skinz recommends the use of a spherical bearing on the shocks. Stock units do not have them, but I'm told by a local shock rebuilder that they can be installed into the OEM eyes. I've a set on order, will be running them with EXIT X1's - based on the photos the a-arms should clear the piggyback res.

$1295 for a front end kit and $1000 if you want shocks. Don't see too many guys spending that kind of money on a front end. It better work really really good.

This is a fantastic video on how they came up with the whole concept front end, pretty cool if it makes that big of a difference on the Nytro's and the XP's, but the problems with those sleds that they are addressing are not present on the 1100T IMO

Yeah... the price is crazy. I was looking at the XP kit when I had my 2011 Turbo. I was going to do it on that sled then I wrote it off!

What time frame did they give you for delivery?

I actually never asked, but hope to have the kit in my hands by the new year. Guess I'll be making a call on Monday...

Haha right on well hopefully you get them sooner then later to give us a ride report, they look promising.
