Looking for info on Donnelly area trail

Is the ungroomed trail shown on the "south map" http://www.snowmobilemccall.net/mccall-idaho-trail-maps/alias-2.html that goes from no business saddle to the top of the tamarack area generaly passable for for a novice on a mountain sled? I am taking my wife to the area soon and would like to do this route.

In my opinion, this would not be a good trail for a novice. You are following a jeep trail which has some bushes that could push you over, to where you are doing some sidehilling, and there is a spot where you generally will have sidehill on a exposed face as you climb. Then once on top, it could be easy to lose the trail if you are not familiar with area. It is a great ride though for more experience rider. Plus with the snow they are getting right now, it will be great this weekend.

Thanks for the input, I do not want to get her into a spot where she will be scared. Hopefully the groomed trails will be in good shape.

groomer reports

The groomer went out last night at Donnelly but the snow is heavy with the higher temperatures now. It gets very hard to groom when the snow gets like this but they will try.

Avalanche warning is very high right now too.
