This is strange, and I apologize, but PLEASE do not take my recommendation on this place any more. The food has been slowly getting "not as fantastic" for a couple weeks, we went tonight it is was not good at all. My burger was mediocre, my wife's philly was disgusting. You get half the fries you used to get when I first posted. The service was bad. Ordered tater tots for the kids, we got fries, the waitress says "I promise you can have tater tots the next time" and leaves the fries.
SO when I get home I ask my wife what the hell happened, and I get the scoop. Her friend was co-owner with the cook. Turns out the cook is a crack-head felon, who cannot get a liquor license. So wife's friend goes to Boise, gets everything put in her name so they can get the license, on the way back to McCall Crackhead changes the locks on the place and locks her out. (He was actually doing that when we were there once.) Anyway, long story short, Crackhead (who has a girlfriend) wants to bang the co-owner and straight told her that to her face, (she is married), she says hell no, he changes locks on the doors, cops will be involved shortly to remove Crackhead as the place is legally not his, hopefully my wife's friend will get her place back and get back to making good food. But I don't want anyone to go there on my recommendation, as the food has changed.
