Looking for help from someone running 06 Summit X

Guys, got a roller secondary off an 06 Summit X with a DJ helix that I'm running on a ZX sled. I am wondering what you guys have for shims/spacers on the backside of the secondary and also wondering if you have one or two thrust washers between the sheaves? I received it with no shims/spacers nor did it have any thrust washers between sheaves. Stock belt for my sled fits into the secondary nicely with adjustment both ways still. I've tried looking at online parts diagram, but I don't know what to trust as there are different variables shown on the diagrams. Just want to make sure I don't eat something up metal on metal before running it. Thanks for any help/input you can provide.

Check MXZ Rev zone (Joeys site) for info about the DJ kit, and/or call him, he's very available. Ya gotta either buy an alignment tool to figure out how many shims you need, or take it to a clutch guy or dealer to align it for you, or float the secondary, choice is yours.:thumb:

Thanks FNG.
I did get setup advice from Joe with the helix I got. Not too worried about that. I also have a floating secondary kit to remove the side to side variable.

Just wondering if I can run it slammed all the way up against where the jackshaft comes through without any shim/washer and whether or not there should be a thrust washer in it. Currently does not have either and don't know if that will eat up the rollers or sheaves right away if nothing is in there to reduce the friction.

Every clutch I've ever seen has had at least one washer in there -- many of them have 2-3, though this is usually more for getting the engagement right I believe.
Some of them are very skinny -- might want to stick one in there just to be safe.
