Looking for gearing and helix

I am looking for these items for a 05 Switchback 900. Where is the best place to buy these parts or does someone have these for sale.

19-41 gearing and chain
66-44 Team helix
new secondary spring

According to Indydan a higher first number will tend to trench more in deep powder when you first start going. I just put a 58-46-46 in mine.

MountainHorse recommended the 66-44-46 maybe because I ride a lot of trails and the deep only occasionally. It is also a 144 inch track.

the 66 initial angle will hook up like crazy on the trails, but not the best for deep pow riding, like zman said it will trench more then a lower initial angle...

just make sure you get a 44 or 46 middle angle and a 46 finish angle....

zman helped me learn alot of this...;)

Thanks Z and Xpress for the info. A quick hook up from the start sounds like it may be a good thing for the conditions we have here. But keeping myself from trenching might have kept me out of that 6 foot deep drift I dug myself out of 3 times without a shovel. Instead of calling my 900 a tractor I nickname it a rototiller.

The correct name is Trencher..:whoo: Just ask anyone who has ever tried to follow a 166 tracked 900:laugh:

Helix andchain length?

What size chain do I need with 19-41 gearing on a 05 900? Which helix would be better with this gearing and used riding low elevation trails and occasional deep out of these two 66-44-46/66-40-46 or 66-44-46/66-42-46?:face-icon-small-dis

Good discussion on helix angles here.....
Ive been wondering if I should try my second track on my helix.
When I went shopping for a helix, I started talking with Chris Kasel. Initially I was looking for the 719, but he recommended the 409 (64/40.46 - 64/44.46) and told me to run it in the 40 track. That's where it has been since.... but I did so many things at once (mountain conversion on the Switchback) there was no way to measure improvement. What do you guys think?
