Hey

All my riding buddies left the area or quit riding, im looking to find some friends who are willing to do some backcountry riding this winter, if you love riding powder, hillclimbing or just playing in a meadow give me a shout, i got the maps for the surrounding areas so im planning on riding anything and everything around.

Thanks
Grant

I live over by Georgetown, but I work in Breck & ride over there often.

I mostly just like to drive slow on trails though...:D

I ride the dump, Zuma, and Tiger rd mostly. Anything but the circus at VP.

I'm in Breck or Frisco every day, shoot me a line.

Kaleb, PM me sometime. We can meet for lunch sometime, I'm over there most weekdays.

I ride tiger road a bit every year. Drop over towards Zuma when the conditions alow. There's some areas I would love to explore, just not a safe way to do it.

I ride during the week, which usally rules out most folks.

If you want to ride PM

This doesn't mention snowmobiles, but my guess is they are included. Can you tell me where this area is, I'd love to check it out.

This spot is on the way to Keystone from Dillon. There is not much snowmobiling in this spot, when I lived in Summit over 5 years ago I used to ride my dirtbike in this spot as early as March. The sun hits this hillside and it is all exposed so the snow melts there pretty early. You might be a able to ride a sled if you kept going up the trails into the mountains, but it was mostly trails. It really sucks they are trying to shut this down, like the article states most of the noise is from highway 6 alone. Afterall it is a dump, it is not the most pristine environment to begin with. Now the rich a-holes think dumps are too nice for us to ride on. I went dirtbiking in Breck a couple weeks ago and could not believe how much the houses have now gone up into the trails near French Creek, all the mines that had jumps built into the tailings piles have been filed in with wood chips by the developers to stop people from riding back there. I don't know how a devloper has the right to alter historic remains just to satisfy the Millionaire homes being built in the area. I think they should be worrying more about more important things, like all the dead trees and the massive Fire that is going to wipe summit county out if it ever burns.

Hey zachcreek, im not the Grant Miller from the excavating company, i guess i got lucky enough to have the same name. Skidoosbest im looking for a harder ride but if your all riding with turbos, i might not be able to keep up. Im just looking for a bunch of guys to get together this winter and all ride together, push each other so we all get better if you know what i mean. Also looking for some new places to ride, the deeper the better!

Thanks
Grant

LOL Grant. Same name in a small community. Still, come on down to BV. I would like to explore some of Summit also. Lived in Blue River for a number of years up Pennsylvania Gulch. We were up there today in Breck, Hiked around Fremont Pass. Snowed on us.

I'll PM ya. I'm in Blue River and have ridden PA Gulch/Indiana all the way up to Boreas. I usually hookup with my friends in Dillon and head to the Ears most weekends.
