Looking for a cheap Apex or Attak

I'm considering picking up an efi 4 stroke for the coming winter but I won't have much time to ride and I don't want to spend much. I'd prefer an Attak or Mtn sled over the short tracks but let me know what you have. I don't care too much about miles and age, a 2006 is no problem as long as it's not junk. My price range would be around $4000. I just can't justify spending much more than that for the snow we get and the amount of time to ride this winter. I'm not interested in a 2 stroke. EDIT: If anyone has a damaged/crashed/broken sled sitting around to fix up I'd certainly be interested in that as well if the price is right.

I've seen them sell pretty low. With the economy the way it is, there are more people willing to deal. Not trying to insult anyone - I wasn't planning on buying a sled this year but if I happen to find one for what I want to spend I might take it. A nice 2008 Nytro MTX with some extras just sold for $4750 on the TY forums, cheapest Nytro in the country I've seen yet. In comparison to that, how much less is a 2006 Apex with 7000 miles worth?

I'd also be really interested in a damaged sled to fix up if the price is right and the engine/drivetrain is still good.

A buddy picked up an 06 Apex with low miles in the Spring of 08 for 4400.00 so they're out there. Another friend picked up an 07 brand new for 6200 toward the end of this season. Be patient and one will turn up, you may have to drive to get one but they're out there.

2006 Apex GT $5000
