Got a sled down back in that I am trying to get out on Wed. Does anyone have a buddy tow pro they could rent or sell to me in the Boise area? Advice and any other options would be greatly appreciated.

I have one but it is from the 80's and it probably is not long enough for todays longtracks. You are welcome to it if needed. I am off on Wed and would be glad to help but my sled is down at the moment. I will pm you my #.

call moto one by 11 (preferably a little before since they place their order at 11) tomarrow and if western has it in stock they can have it that after noon around 3-4. or pay $5 extra and you can go pick it up at western a hour after you call any time.
western part number 29-1019
retail is only $67 and of course they will give you a discount off of that. Says it fits upto a 166 track.
their number is 288-0789
you know where it is. :)

I didn't realize they were that cheap. Might have to think about getting one. Almost had to try to tow a buddys sled out of a bad spot last sat. Electrical short or water in the rectifier regulator plug and it would not start. After messing with it for a while we got it to start and rode it out. Should be alot easier to tow a sled out with one of those then just removeing the belt.

I've used a palsstic tub type toboggan before to to a long track sled out. They run under $30 and have some runners built in.
I also have built a tow bar that will hook to the ski loops and seems much safer towing with than straps.
pm me and I can get you a phone # if you want to try it.

tow it backwards

put the track of the dead sled backwards on the tunnel of the tow rig - release the torsion springs and turn the skis around backwards. ratchet strap the sucker down tight and take off riderless. it will come out of anything.

Well???? Am I riding Warm Lake this weekend?

Only if you want to :)
Got her out yesterday. Good thing I had GPS coordinates as there was about 2' of fresh covering it up. W managed to get it back to the road out with a couple hrs to spare so we played in the fluff a little. It was great snow with a good base and 2-3 ft of fluff on top. Now to get the turbo re-freshed before I miss all this good stuff :)

Thankd for the offers from everyone, let me know if I can ever return the favor ( hopefully not, but you never know)
