Looking at the new Polaris polyester cover vs canvas one

Last fall I picked up a Poo Polyester cover #2878741. It's actually a snowcheck special for 2012. Has a cotton liner to protect the paint. It has reinforcing in all the right places, fits perfectly and sheds the elements. After one season on my "open trailer", the cover still looks new. Not sure why all the other comments say they fall apart, to me the cover is very well built. In the pick, the cover is just layed over the machine, the straps weren't done up.

i have he same cover two years of use no fading and looks like new these are very good covers and well worth the money

I see Polaris came out with a polyester cover for their snowmachines, I'm interested in something other than canvas and wondered if anyone has bought one and what they think about it. Go to page 72 to take a look at it.

Might be expensive but there is NO cover on the market that last as long or works as good as the Skinz waterproof cover.

I have two sno skinz and one 12 pro spring break cover (same one in the pic). The skinz are great covers, you will pay for them. The poo premium spring breaker isn't a skinz, but for occasional back of truck use, it works well. Tight of course. Skinz are better on a deck or for routine use. JMPO and experience.

I've had a Skinz cover on my 07 Summit for several years and it still looks good, I'm very happy with it. However I went ahead and ordered a Sno-Skinz for my '10 Dragon after hearing all the horror stories about the Polaris covers, glad there's a few of you who have had better luck. My concern with the Skinz is I tried the XL that fits on my 144 Summit and it didn't even come close to fitting over the tunnel of the 153 Dragon. I called Skinz and they said it should fit, said that perhaps I wasn't putting it on correctly, I think I know how to put a cover on, duh. Maybe they make their "new" XL's larger than their "old" ones but it wasn't worth the risk, plus the Sno-Skinz looks like an awesome cover.

5 years plus on Sno-Skinz Iq (166") outdoor on deck year round, yes it did fade but sled looked great. Can't ask for more than that!
New canvas pro seems to be working well on 2012 when and if it goes it will get a Sno-Skinz.
