Looking at to add another sled in the trailer. It is a turbo nytro was wondering what people think about them. I have a turbo apex already. The guys that have ridden both what chasis do you like better. Thanks for the help

I had a T-Apex and now have a T-Nytro. Most days I prefer the Nytro....it does everything well.....climbing, jumping, drops, carving. If I could I'd have both though:face-icon-small-win

I'm a lot more confident doing stuff on the Nytro. Apex of course feels heavier but they're both heavy when u get them stuck!!

I myself went from a Nytro to an apex. I prefer the apex. Maybe a Nytro with the new skinz fronted would be the ticket I dunno. But either one of them are only heavy when there stuck. I love the apex in the real deep. And I prefer the apex over the Nytro in setup snow.

I've only ridden the Nytro a few times, but I couldn't get used to it. I love the Apex chassis. It seems more predictable.

See I cant stand the Apex lol Guess it depends on riding style and what you want it to do. I like aggressive, quick steering rider forward position and wide skis stance. To me a apex is more old school, lean back and carve type of machine, which for some people is exactly what they want.

My thoughts exactly, I really prefer the nytro vs. the apex.

Thanks for :fish2:for me buddy!

Ive been thinking of the same question to. The nytro seems like its leaning towards the new technology of the whole rider forward thing and agressive chassis. From what ive read and seen the apex engines are a little bit stronger (just from reading dont know to much) and can handle more boost. Thats just from reading on the forums and listening to other peoples boost levels. But i rode a turbo nytro mid mount running 8-9lbs all day and it was unreal. The apex is deffinitly a little bit more old school style. Im a 160lbs rider and i was doing 5 foot wheelies all the way up some narly hills at Baker. Personally i think either way if its turboed you will have a blast!! Let us know what you get.

I have a turbo 174 apex and 2010 nytro 162 SE.

I like them both very much however the Nytro is far more quicker on its feet than the apex. Of course its mostly due to the 100lb + wet weight difference. I really like the rider forward positioning and overall suspension differences.

In additon, you can purchase a left over 2010 or 2011 Nytro for about 10 grand out the door, put another 2500 bucks into it and drop the weight down to what Polaris pro's are weighing in at (mid 500's wet). Add a mcx 180 kit from there and you have a boondocking freaky machine.

Overall, I only keep my Apex for a 2nd sled when family visits. Its great for ice fishing too!!
