Lookin for some slednecks to ride with (Snowies)

skiwiz had us blindfolded all day!:face-icon-small-coo What an epic day! Bluebird skies and perfect grippy pow pow. Two belts down, two days to go.

Yo Coldfinger, Pm'd you back. We're riding Sun, Mon and Tues as well if anyone else is up for a ride?

Did you find a belt for your machine? Theres a good possibility a couple of us will be riding Tuesday. Let me know what area your gonna be riding out of.

Definately riding tues. We got a pair of belts from Albany Lodge. No certain plan for tues. ride. We went around the north side of the medicine bow and found limitless fluff. I'm game for whatever if you guys can make it up (another 4-5 inches on top of Sat. snow) Send a text tommorrow morn!

Still waiting for the dumbthumb stories:attention:

we rode out of albany friday and sat. friday just b 4 getting into albany we saw 4 wolves on the hwy. im nicknaming sheepherders mountain "mini lamar valley"from up top looking down there ,thats what it looks like .
friday was sunny, no tracks anywhere . we went south on B trail. we could not believe how good the conditions were and no one around.
at one time we dropped off b trail and just kept going through different terrain and the next thing we knew we ended up on T trail. really was a great ride friday.
than came sat. that was a great ride, we rode in a blizzard all day.
We got to meet up and ride with the guys who we were corresponding with , and 3 of them we had just met , 2 of them drove 15 hours to get to laramie, that is snowmobiling at its finest. we had such a great time riding . afterwards we all went out to eat together .
what a great sport snowmobiling is.
you are right newmy1 we need pics . i have a few from friday , i will see if i can get them up soon.

It's cool to see this all come together as a plan!!
Hope you all have some fun!!
Cheers

well they looked bigger than coyotes and we never knew coyotes to run in a pack . we did ask around if there were wolves in the area and some say they they have spotted wolves so your guess is as good as mine.

lol ok now french creek kid , u might add a 38 to your survival gear. I would hate to find out you had everything to survive out on the mountain for a week but you got ate by a pack of wolves:present:

I've thought about that. Easy way of keeping toggy away too if we get stuck:face-icon-small-blu

i called wyo game and parks today and talked to them about what we saw and that we thought they were wolves and if that was possible. they said there have been others to call and report sightings but they are not aware of any wolves in the snowies.

Guess I'll keep my eyes open a lil more out that way. The Girlfriend and I did see one wolf about 2 or 3 years ago... about 2 months later it was captured in the Walden area. Im not saying its impossible... just unlikely

There was a mystery animal captured on the Keystone Cam a few years ago. That was sent to them too, it looked like a wolf to me, it was not round enough to be a bear (longer and leaner).

A few falls ago we were cutting firewood and heard a deep howl around sunset that made the hair on my neck stand up. Definetly not a coyote, I have those around the house and know what they sound like. It could have been someone camping up there with one of those hybrid-dogs though too - so until I personally see a wolf I am still skeptical.

Now Bigfoot on the other hand........ :face-icon-small-win
