I would suggest the Saratoga side Medicine Bow Lodge
or Albany on the Laramie side. Albany will be lower elevation and right on trail. Not sure on the dog deal any place I guess you will have to find out if they allow pets. Centennial will be on the Laramie side but the highest elevation and not pleasant if the wind blows. I am pretty sure high elevation sleep at night with infants will not be a good , at least I have a hard time sleeping at 9500 ft.

wycolo lodge will be the closest to you might want to check them out, not busy should have the place to yourself. On the most southern edge of system, I rode out of there once have to ride quite a bit to get to any place but will not see many others sleds.

That helps, Thanks!!!! I will look into it.
We live above 9500ft in CO, its no problem. How long of a trail ride is it to the good stuff?

Rendezvous Lodge

We just spent this past weekend at Rendezvous Lodge at Ryan Park. Very reasonable pricing and excellent food and staff. Right on the trail. Ride right from your room less than three miles to good stuff. Not sure about dogs but they are dog owners so I would just call ahead. We had a great time there.!!

Thank you very much. Giving them a call.

You could also try Ten Mile, they are just down the road from Ryan Park. They have nice cabins that are new and reasonably priced. They have a kitchen area that you can use or you can go to Ryan Park or to Saratoga. We just stayed there last week, Ken and Kimberly are great people not sure on the dog policey tho. I know they have one room that has 4 fullsize beds and another that has 4 bunkbeds. The one with 4 fullsize beds has two rooms, seems like a nice room, might work well for you.

hey guys, i have a question, i have never been to the snowies but looking to go there in the next couple weeks. Is the road that goes between centennial and ryan park open year round (looking to ride on the ryan park side) and about how long of a drive is it?? where is a good place for a group of 6 or 8 guys to stay? bar nearby would be prefered and nearest to great off trail riding would be most important. Thanks in advance!!

The road between Cent. and Ryan park is closed due to mass quantities of snow. It becomes a groomed trail in the winter.

Centennial has places to stay, Albany Lodge has a great place to stay. Keep lookin around and you will find the deal that fits you the best. As for off trial riding... its all over the place.
