Any recommendations for lodging on the trail in Houghton MI. On the trail or a short ride away.I don't want to trailer.

Most places are accessible that I've seen, so really just find a place that fits your needs and just confirm how far off the trail they are. The workers are well trained to answer those questions as we are their bread and butter. I've stayed at two places over the years. The Country Inn in Houghton, and lately the Ramada in Hancock (just across the bridge).

Should be busy there this weekend. Last I checked Houghton was at `120" of snow that fell. Watch a few of the areas though, stump city!!
