Just put dpf delete with mini max on 09 lmm. Just wondering if anyone has went into lymph mode. I haven't been able to drive it yet because I'm working out of town. Anyone got reviews for me? Good and bad experiences? Wife sure is having fun driving it i keep on getting videos of blowing smoke.

I read several reviews on the mini on DuramaxForum. I'd check with those guys as they have a lot more experience with it. I wish I could run that programmer on my LML.

if you have the minimax set on any setting over about 100-120 hp, you could definitely limp the trans.

be careful on your 4-5-6 and 6-5-4 shifts and your trans will thank you

yes EFI live will blow it out of the water as far as tuning, but thats not the topic i suppose

also, please remember, smoke is power you can see not use, and it makes diesels look bad which makes enviro nazis want to shut us down even more

If EFI Live ran for president it would win! So many people are crazy about it for pure power. But some of us just want to delete DPF/DEF, monitor gauges and add 30-100hp (safe on the Allison). Plus, you can buy it in a box, quickly put it on and not depend on someone creating a map for you.

I agree, EFI is an awesome product, as is H&S.

both have their place IMO, H&S are great tunes as well, just dont have all the options available that EFI does. for 90% of people H&S is a great option.

Have you looked into the new EFI Autocal stuff? It is supposed to be plug and play i think, may be wrong tho.

I'm still waiting on something that won't void warranty on my LML. It may never come. GM has the ability to monitor any HP/TQ gains and void warranty. I don't blame them as many people are putting too much power to the powertrain. I want to delete my DPF/DEF and run a 4" exhaust. I would like around 100hp though. I'll check out that product.

Ya but u can't sell efi live or put on any diesel like mini max. Plus gauges

You can put mini max on lml

I don't get wat you mean by "u can't sell Efi live" but all u need to do is send your ECM in to any of the bigger performance shopslike Alligator, PTP, Danerville and they will have it back to u in a couple work days programmed by a pro "Idaho Rob" and it's the super safe bc he programs only to ways done to your truck.

Also the Mini Maxx isnt interchangeable from GM to Ford or Dodge! Manufactur spicific!

And If anyone is tuneing an LML there very rich or not smart because there warranty is now voided! Bc there is now way to erase the ECM memory on the new GMs.

Minimax is interchangeable I've had mine on my 09 d-max now it's on my 11 cummins. It's not efi but it's a great box tuner had no problems with it on duramax.

efi live is great, idaho rob did mine and WOW. but like wang11 said earlyer its not sellable, it is VIN locked to that truck and that truck only, can never remove and install on new truck. efi live is pricey, first you need to buy the controller for around $1000, then you need to have someone(like Idaho rob) build you a program for your truck as is with "goodies" cost $100 bucks for the licence(per vehicle) then around 250 to 300ish for tuning. and if you ever add more "goodies" to your truck, you should have a new tune made for it to take advantage of what efi live has to offer, another $250-$300. it will void the warrenty none the less, but so will removing you dfp. also like sldhvn said earlyer watch you 4-5-6 or 6-5-4 shifts, weak point on the allison's, with all programers. the only code i have thrown in low fuel rail pressue from to hot of a tune and not enuff fuel. one thing that helped me with shifts was a TRANS-GO JR shift kit, bumpes up line pressure

also with efi live as far as i am aware of, you dont send in your ecm, you make a copy of your stock opperating systems than email it to them(guys like idaho rob) then they email your tune back to you, you then download it to the efilive controller then into your truck, and if you get the dsp2 ordsp5 you hard wire that into your trucks ecm plug

there is an option now for a pretuned ecm, or you can get it in a "tuned can" style box as well, so it is getting to be just as easy(plug and play) and way better tunes
