Livening up a 163

Have a couple of 2018 163"'s with 11" chopped tunnel.... debating going with iceage khoas kit or converting them to 155's
We find that there's too much push with the 163"s vs our 155's (coastal mountains - mixed conditions). Wondering if maybe khoas 163 might be a happy medium....

I ordered a 163 or was it 165 matryx boost to replace my 163 850 pro. I’m wondering if I should have gone khaos instead of pro???

I did a 163 set of Khaos Rails from Ice Age and the Raptor shock extension kit, and it really put tye sled where I wanted it to be for playfulness and ease of use in the woods. I would recommend it.

I ride a 16x Khaos and am shocked by how different a 155 Khaos rides. I can make the 16x do what I need to, but not what I want to.

I did a khaos conversion on my 18 163 and I definitely noticed the difference.I didn't do the rails. I did the khaos limiter strap, anti stab kit and a new shock. It's stil not a 155, but it's a lot better and you will enjoy it a lot more

I have no doubt that Khaos parts will make a huge difference on it, but on my 19 163 pro, I just cranked up the front track shock about 10 or 12 turns to get more preload and turned down the rear spring until the amount of sag was unacceptable and then turned it back up about 2 turns. This made the machine an entirely different sled for free. Stock out of the box settings were stiff as a brick! Obviously it's not as wild as my Khaos 155 setup, but it's way more playful than it was.
