Little Truckee Summit Snow

Finally we got some snow so that we could leave from the house. Once we got up top we found some great snow up at Mount Lola. There is still snow in the bowl left over from last year. The 07 Road is in good shape up to the Yuba Pass turn off. That might change after the next-storm this week.

The 07 Road is closed at the parking lot to wheeled vehicles. The problem is we didn’t have much snow out of this last storm at the parking lot. With these warm temperatures the snow. With these warm temperatures the snow is melting fast . Getting thin all the way to Perrazzo Meadows. I have no idea with the forest service is thinking. Groomer has been out up here.

DON'T think I want to trash my sled on pavement. Hope it improves but not likely with recent forecast.

Finally we got some Snow. It’s still way thin down low. Up Top was great. The 07 Road is closed at the park lot again. With the storms coming in this week it wellhelp for some coverage on the road.

Yesterday’s storm brought us 2 feet of new snow. Going to
be awesome out there today.

Wow. 3 1/2 feet of new snow and blue bird. More snow on the way today? Going to make for an awesome weekend. Heading to Yuba Pass tomorrow. Chili cook off.

We had 20" of new snow Tuesday, Wednesday. We got almost 3 feet last night. Still dumping. Going to be a awesome weekend.
