Hi everyone this is Michael. I thought I would share my new project with all of you. My dad and I built my sled in 2007. We have been riding and racing it since then. We are constantly upgrading the sled especially the turbo system to make it as fast as we possibly can. A few weeks ago I decided it needed a face lift as I have been cutting, welding, and wedging different parts into it for 2 years. Here are pictures of it before I stripped it to the tunnel.

stripped down

So it took about two days to get the sled stripped down and ready to be powder coated. Heres some of the pictures of what it looked like stripped down

sponsor's and paint

Now i had to make a list of all the stuff i needed like worn parts and stuff to make the sled look better.

Then I needed some sponsor's for this project. I went out and collected a few:
-D&D Racing
-MT Baker Moto-Sports
-APC (Advanced Powder Coating)

I decided that I should paint the motor just to make it easier to clean and look nicer under the hood. i also started to polishing everything. My buddy matt said the rouge was making him feel a little crazy so I got a picture not sure what they put in that stuff. lol

and more yet

Now I have to wire it in. Still working on it what a pain. I'm trying to make everything shorter and cut back all the reverse stuff and add a battery. What is everyone useing for a battery? I'm going to power my prologger with it so I can shut of my sled and look at my history.

sweet...

Looks great man... also great for those of us who've never torn our sled down to the bare chassis to see what it looks like stripped down. Going to go to the PC? looks like sweet man, keep up the hard work and pics!

mounting WTA and gages

I got my watter to air inter cooler mounted in and ready to role and the new pistons just showed up so I should have it running by tomorrow I hope.:)
let it snow! check out my naturally aspirated build. I'm going to post it tomorrow shouldn't take long to through that beast together

i've got the exact same water air IC setup sitting in my garage right now! What are you using for a heat exchanger to cool the IC water, and more importantly how are you going to get it from the tunnel to the engine compartment?

I've run mine up by where the ignition coils are mounted but if you've got a better idea...

I'll post some pictures in a while. I ran mine to the back right by the bumper I think it should cool pretty good.

Nice man... Love the water/ air IC.. That's for sure the one to use... Looking foreward to hearing how it works out.. Good luck

Dynojet Power Commander 5, I'm tinkering with my as we speak. It's a fuel controller that you can build a full fuel correction table for based on throttle position and rpm. You can also run an overlay table if you hook up a pressure sensor. Then you can tune for boost pressure, rpm, and throttle position. It's considerably more work than the boondocker box but it lets you actually tune the sled instead of just throwing a blanket over huge sections of the fuel map and calling it close enough.

Whose water to air core did you start with? Are you tied into the stock cooling system or did you dedicate a second system to it?

Nice work, I bet it's a mean sled!
