I have a friend that just bought an 05 900 RMK. He has a list of updates that were done to the sled on 12-10-04 and 3-22-05. Can anyone tell me what they were for. All he has are a bunch of numbers.

S-05-01 A heat shield kit has been developed to protect underhood components fromexcessive heat. The kit contents include
a heat deflector with mounting hardware, and seven pre--cut pieces of heat resistant fabric tape. The instructions
included with the kit will illustrate where the deflector and pieces of tape are to be installed
S-05-02 A vent kit has been developed to reduce heat in the clutch / belt area and to enhance belt durability. The kit includes
one black--colored vent, mounting hardware and instructions for installing the vent on the clutch--side engine compartment
door.
S-05-05 An engine mount and torque stop update kit, PN 2203074, has been developed to enhance drive system efficiency, reduce
premature belt wear and improve drive and driven clutch alignment during operation.
The 2203074 update kit contains a torque stop limiter and washer designed to compliment the vehicle’s torque stop.
Because the vehicle was driven without the torque stop limiter and washer, the original torque stop and left--rear engine
mount may have been subjected to unnecessary wear and tear. Because of this, a new torque stop and left--rear engine
mount are also included in the kit. While the torque stop and left--rear engine mount are new parts, they are not new
designs.
S-05-04 Install foam seal, PN 5812749, around the headlight assembly. The foam seal will reduce the possibility for snow ingestion
into the air intake system while riding in deep powder conditions
S-05-03 Polaris Industries Inc. has determined that the handlebar wiring harness may be routed in a way that could disconnect
the engine stop switch and the throttle safety switch connector. Themost likely situation leading to this condition is when
the handlebars are in the Rider Selectt full--forward position (#7) and the handlebars are rotated fully to the right.
If this connector becomes unplugged, the engine stop and theETCswitches will no longer function. However, the keyed
ignition switch will continue to function and will shut down the vehicle when the key is in the OFF position.
The thumb warmer and right--side hand warmer could also become unplugged under these harness--routing conditions.
If you can tell us what these were, thank you!
