Line-x and ski skags

Carbides will tear your line-x up. If I don't have my deck on I throw a set of ski skins on to put the sled in the box.

I have it in the floor of my trailer and it's been good for four years. It gets a bit beat up on the leading edge of the door though. Its great in the trailer because you can actually steer on it.

I have Arma Coatings spray in liner and I don't see any signs of a sled in the back.

I had Rhino Liner in my old truck. Had a few marks on it but in no way tore it off.

My friend Line-X'd his deck. No marks where the sleds sit, a few chips at the loading edge. This is after five years of use.

Interesting to see such a wide difference in results.
For some this seems to work really well, and for others not.

I have been thinking about having my trailer sprayed with one of these coatings as my test using a flooring material failed miserably this last winter.

The types of polyurea (sprayed material) used vary dramatically. Some are harder, some are softer. I use one that leans on the softer side and has worked well for over 3 years. The leading edges are usually the main issue because the plywood is actually giving way.

I sprayed in my enclosed trailer like been said edges peel but been good so far . I put some aluminum ends on the doors carbides bit into that but stopped the peeling.
