This was my wifes sled, one owner and it's in immaculate condition. Enclosed trailer and stored in my shop so only outside when ridden. Serviced annually and ready to ride.
2004 Polaris 700 Verticle Edge, 151 track-$3,750
Mods to lighten it, make it handle better, improve fuel economy and to improve the ride....no engine mods.
Weight reduced about 25 lbs-Holz Chrome Moly trailing arms; Boss seat (8lbs lighter and sits 3" higher than stock); SLP ceramic single pipe (10lbs lighter); ported track.
Rear shocks are Ryde FX gas-SLP Powder Pro Skiis; tall windshield; Polaris dash bag; Holz Ice scratchers.
Excellent economy-you won't need to carry extra fuel. Holzman altitude compensator, SLP air intake and powder filters.
Clutching is spot-on; extra belt. Shock tower vents on the clutch side and exhaust side to improve flow through cooling and to keep the clutch cool.
To summarize the sled has reliable mods to improve an already great sled....the things you would have liked the factory to do stock.
