Thought I'd share.
4 x 55w ddm(apexcone) ballast
4 x lightforce 4200K bulbs(sweet blue aluminum anodized bulb bases)
2 x lightforce 170 (1800 lumens w/ 100w halogen, 2700 lumens w/ 55w HID)
2 x lightforce 240 (3200 lumens w/ 100w halogen, 5500 lumens w/ 55w HID)

Balast on 1/8" aluminum stock

Covered up

sweet bulb bases

240's(10") lights on spot

240's and 170's fog

Glare city

I bought the bulbs @ $30 shipped each(genuine lightforce), ddm ballast kits @ $60 shipped for a total of $240. Lighforce HID 50W conversion retails $260 per lamp, so that brings a total savings of $800 and puts out more light in the mean time.

That's great but you care to share WHERE you got the parts from.

I ordered a HID upgrade for my pickup over a month ago through a local shop. The supplier keeps telling him by Friday, then next week. He finally just canceled the whole order and told me he won't deal withthem anymore.

Sooooooo, where'd ya get em?

Premier performance. A diesel shop out of your hometown, oddly enough. Awesome people, shipped to my door for free in less than 4 days. They have an eBay page aswell.
