08 D7 when i hit the high beam switch the display goes haywire and of course the high beams won't come on. When the high beams are off everything works fine any ideas. seems maybe a shorted switch but wouldn't think the display would go haywire like that. any clues.

High beams are most likely burned out, change the bulbs and it should return to normal.

Thx the electrical system must be really touchy to cause that , i'll check it out i've checkin for wires all night that might be grounded out hopefully that'll work.
