I have a black lexan BR Teck hood ( mine came cracked when I got the sled used) I am going to put on my 05 M7 as soon as I get done with my skid frame and tunnel conversion and was trying to figure out a way to run headlights other than stock.
I thought it might be easier to hide some little projector lights down low and point them out of the nose vents through the mesh in the stock hood. I have a BDX Black box to simplify the air intake with the lexan hood. I was hoping to loose a little weight, simplify the lexan hood install, and make my sled look a little cooler with the headlights blacked out with the rest of the hood.
If I can mount the lights to the chassis pointed out through a vent hole in the front of the hood and eliminate the guages I will save some weight and make it really easy to just pop the hood off with no hinges or wires attached.
Has anyone seen something like this done?
Thanks
