Is this up on the north shore? Looks cold!
Yes it was up on Lake Superior.
Rode from Superior, WI to Grand Portage and back. About 300 miles or so........
Not too cold actually until we got up past Grand Marais. It was 95 degrees on shore, and we were getting hypothermia riding on the lake that particular day. Even in a wetsuit, getting splashed 1,000's of times by huge waves takes the heat out of you.
We just pulled into coves and warmed up for a few minutes, then continued on.
Planning a trip around the entire lake. 1,450 miles. The logistics are brutal. Got to haul more gas for that trip. There are spots where you need to go almost 175 miles between gas stops. I wish my ski was not supercharged for this trip, I dont need the power, I need fuel economy!

Didyou get those ceramic Supercharger washers out of that RXP and put in Hardened steel ones yet?
If you dont, it is only a matter of time before they grenade and take out your oil pumps, then Clllaaabaaaaam!

We sold both last summer and bought a boat...i did hear this was an issue, thx though! Would like to see those bare foot skiers.

yea Ive been "lost" many times at lake powell..
...but that's a good thing......Google Earth 3-D and "Lake Powell"--"Glen Canyon" is really cool...
