Well I don`t want to be the guy to piss on your cornflakes but I don`t see it doing that great. Hope I get to eat a lot of crow on this one and that would be ok. I for one want to see it be a success.

But they tried this in Kamloops years ago (correct me if I1m wrong). Can`t see how Vernon will get more foot traffic than the lower mainland to a show like this. Especially with shows in Edmonton and Calgary. The big thing that kills the shows IMO is the cost of floor space. I checked out what the Vernon shoow is charging and its more than it was down here for 10x10 space. The little custom guy just can`t fork that out hoping to recoup. Especially now during these "tough times". I heard that Puyallups turn out was way down this year and that Edmonton`s had mixed reviews.

Its the little aftermarket shops and wierd/exotic stuff you you can`t get from your dealer that make these shows work. Why would someone pay to go see what one of the big boys (yamaha,ski-doo,arctic cat,polaris) are offering at a show when you could walk into there shop any day of the week for free.

I really hope I`m wrong but that's how I see it.

FYI before you all start flaming me I plan on driving all the way down there from Chilliwack with my 5 and 3 year old to show my support for the day.So don`t think I don`t want this to be a succcess.

See you at the show Shawn ! I hope it is a big success, would be nice to see it stay in the interior. As I see it, there are more sledders per capita than on the coast here inland, so I hope the #s that show are good. It's not the best weekend to have it being that it's on Halloween weekend, but take what we can get. Attendance might be a little thin on Friday, but Saturday and Sunday should be good. Good thing there are :beer; gardens, I'll need a few refreshments myself. Fab... not bringing the traditional crown n coke ? we missed ya at the Edmonchuck show.

Lots of great deals to be had at the vendors.

Its great seeing the custom rides built by some of the best shops around.

Rated R from CR Racing is awsome! (the propane nytro isnt too shabby either...haha)

:beer; a good show :)

Did someone say "FREE ADMISSION?" That's a twist, but a good one. Usually with any kind of show like this, be it a home show or sport show they usually charge an admission fee which really P!ss%s me off. Merchants making the consumer pay to come look at their products which they want us to buy.
Best news I've heard this AM.
Cheers:beer;

Be there when she opens tmorrow. I'll be the guy with my HMK Liner on and sportin' a cane. I'll be limpin' around. Hope it's good.
HardKore, I was thinking the same thing.

Show on Saturday was excellent. Huge! A lot of people. Great displays. Some good deals to be had on a few accessories and some awesome deals on outerwear. The place to buy a beacon if you don't have one. Free rides for kids!
The girls at the Amsoil display get my vote for the most scenic display. Tiniest tight black shorts I've ever seen;) Even the Wife had a second look. Some pretty hot stuff at other displays as well.
One downside: Too dam many booths trying to flog video discs.
Highly recommended. :beer;

So.....how many Amsoil stickers did everyone get?? I ended up with 2 AND a bag to carry all my brochures & posters!! It was the best route back to the Yam/Pol building......really;);)

Good thing my wife wasn't there!! I'm sure she would've poked me in the eyes or something!! :D:D

I went there on friday it was awesome got a hmk jacket for $100 and some klim boots for $50 because someone wore them for a ride going to go back today i will try to get some pics.

Lets see some dam pics for the less privileged. :D
Sorry Man! No camera on hand. Good thing too. The Wife had no problem with me looking but if I decided to take a photo or two .......... I would likely be ridin a 1976 Everest for the rest of my life. :brokenheart:
I could sneak back today but I have a feeling the Wife would know exactly why....Crap!

I just got back home. Was a good show, I was impressed. I only saw 4 booths with vids. Maybe I shoulda been more aware but saw the Crazy Canadian, always a pleasure. Alpine had vids.....and a sweet Nytro with the Air-ride. Dean's got a pimp sled there. Go video and Scott Fulmer. Never saw anyone else with vids......wasn't looking either though.
Caught up with so many people, really missed the Eddie show. Some good stuff to be had. Spoke with Powderlites and C3. Saw a bunch of dealers I knew, some old friends. Made plans for this season.......I had a good time. Very glad I went.
