Legend Oil in Denver?

Does anyone happen to know where I can find Legend Oil locally in Denver? I would like to give it a try, but don't want to have to always order the stuff in. Thanks for any advice.

legend oil

there is no place in CO any more I was the dealer and Mark the own of legend is suck a pain to work with and keeps screwing me over so I am done with his crap sorry I would keep running what your running

Isn't Legend $38/gallon or so? Just head on down to Bass Pro and pick yourself a bottle of Mystic JT/4 100% synthetic or their Mystic JT/4 Ultimate High Performance Oil is which is a syn/conventional blend. Only $19.89 gallon. If you are running a Polaris 800 save the $18/gallon you save for new pistons which you'll need eventually regardless of oil you use.

Both oils have a very good reputation and Hugo Chavez is dead (its a Citgo product). IIRC, both are JASO FD rated which means that your power valves will stay cleaner as long.

There is no reason other than greed (manufacturer and retailer markup) for oil to cost more than $20/gallon unless you believe the extra cost of ground unicorn horn and magic fairy dust is worth it as oil additives.

No oil will work unless you have the proper oil ratio. High revving engines need more oil ratio, not less because of decreased oil dwell time on surfaces. 32:1-38:1 is where I shoot for as a compromise between lubrication/power and longevity.

On other smaller 2 stroke engines that rev up to 28,000 rpm, I use a fuel that contains 5 to 7:1 fuel to oil ratio. with 20% of the oil being castor. These engines wouldn't last 5 minutes on 50:1 at those rpms.

Bparks & I have a source for Yamalube 2-R, which is a similar quality oil for less $$... I'm ok with hooking other folks up as long as I don't have to deal with a bunch of hassle to do it.

Btw, it's about $150 a case... if someone has a way to get it cheaper than that, I'm interested!

The situation with Bill is pretty crap....

However, I just buy the stuff 5 gallons at a time. I'm about due for another 5 gallons actually... If you can't keep yourself stocked up when buying 5 gallons at a time, I don't know what to tell ya ( =

So is Boston Racing selling legend still? Anybody in CO a distributor?

You can go on Legends website and order direct. I'm gonna go to a different oil too next time around. The Bparks story is one of many I've heard working with Mark. Hard to give your money to an a$$hole. Gonna try out the new Ctec 2 Cat oil.

After how he treated Q & Chuck, then T-Main down in CB (that one is a fun story :D ) , then Bill... and I know of two other people in other states he's pulled shady crap on (changing prices after shipping product), I just can't do it anymore. I just refuse to give my money to that kind of slimeball.

I'll say the 2r doesn't smell nice like the legend, but you can't smell it at all... which is good enough for me! Even in the garage a few days ago right at startup I whiffed it & it just didn't have any scent, hard to complain about that. Glad I made the switch.

I do believe Peak Motorsports in Cheyenne may be the closest now. If he is still a distributor that is........:face-icon-small-dis

That sucks the guy is shady .... I thought the product was really good.....guess maybe I'll go back to the Polaris stuff
