Anyone tried the lay down post on the alpha? Just curious more than anything.

Because its an option? Get the bars more forward? Sometimes i wish i could get farther forward on steep climbs

They do pivot forward some? Im finding I ride the Alpha a lot further back that I did any other proclimb, FWD doesn't really work on this sled

Does the ascender use the same lay down post as a 2014?

I put a lay down steering post in one of my sleds. Hated it.
Ended up adding the 3 inch post forward block. It's better but I still don't like it.
Wish I would have stayed with the stock verticle steering post.

Second season with the lay down post on my Alpha, feels way more natural to me and puts you further over the sled. I've never liked vertical steering, I got use to it when I had an Axys but didn't keep that sled for very long for other reasons. I'm also a big fan of skidoos and own an 850 doo so very use to the lay down post steering. It is 100% preference so really can not take anyones advice on steering set up besides run a low riser setup.

I put the lay down post on my 2020 Alpha.
I did not like it ...not for me.....I removed it went back to stock.....so its now for sale....PM/DM me
