Don't know what happened in snow cross but he was pretty smooth off a ramp. What happened with Burandt? Just not having a good year I expected him to throw down some great tricks.

Burandt wrecked hard in Speed and Style and his back was messed up and you could tell by watching him, very tentative. Levi got bucked in the first set of whoops and fell from 7th to 10th and got back to 6th or 7th. Then he went on and performed very solidly in Freestyle taking home the Gold.
I was standing near the upper two jumps, and the wind was really kicking up.
The wind really seemed to freak out Hoyer, Thacker and Burandt.
Dane Ferguson was amazing, as was Frisby.
Ferguson pulled a backflip over the 100' ramp - didn't see anyone else even try.
Blaze flamed out - looked like he really had to fight the big blue to get it to move around, and then wrecked a flip pertty good on the lower jump out of the wind.
Parsons and Rodgers were impressive, as was Levi.
Didn't see the finals - twas driving home.

wasnt the same without burandt. He ALWAYS goes big and has great extentions. In my opinion he IS the best all around snowmobiler. As a native idahoan I wish Frisby capitolized on it all and pulled it off. Oh well. congrats to levi. Thats huge for a racer to enter a freestyle comp and win. I think burandt will come back better than ever.

BS! The fix was in...all I heard all wekend was Levi, Levi, Levi,.
If you are going to win you need to do more than 1 basic backflip and a bunch
of half azzed other crap, it was NOT a race although the commentators
seemed to think so.....at least everyone else tried tough tricks, his were
very basic and he was rewarded for going safe but fast. In the semi's
he got smoked! A guy does 3 flips including variations and because he gets
tossed on the last trick he loses? Like I say the fix was in

The commentators were crap - all they could do was say "dead sailor" like 50 times, and a bunch of lame jokes - while the compeditors were hucking it big in a windstorm. Dane Ferguson went big - real big - with the flip off of the 100'footer - but several others put down some impressive tricks also.

haven't watched the fx yet but yeah I think espn was leaning real hard on Levi all week long. Don't get my wrong, he's a MN boy so I like him, but from what I've seen and heard....give us some variety. the best way I figured it was that espn wants Levi to be the new Morgan or RC.

Yeah morgan looked slow, even the semi pro brett bender was giving him a run for his money.
Yea, in the second qualifier for sno-x "what's it going to be like without Morgan in the final"? Oh well we have the new sno-x poster child with Levi. And how about after watchin over an hour of knuckle-draggers, we finally get to sno-x main, and we miss 7 laps due to commercials in the middle of the final. ESPN gets a c- on coverage.
Seemed like there was more to it then just the freestyle from what was on the tube. Didn't he get 3 or 4 golds?

I wen't to the X-Game Qualifier in Billings Mt..There LEVI was the show.
9 back flips in a row.It was Very windy only one other guy did a back flip and he only did one.Levi did 11 or 12 total.Joe Parsons did the best extensions.This was just the qualifier though not allot of big time people there.It was still very impresive.
Back flips are what people want to see.More jumps = more points.My 2 cents.
