Late Season riding at Tampico

It's always worth it. We will have a blast for sure. Sled is loaded up and ready to go.

For sure. I'm really looking forward to getting 1 more run in with that Assault track on this spring snow! I couldn't stop smiling last time!:face-icon-small-hap

Last Ride of the season today!

Well I'm sad to say we took our last ride of the season today, but I'm glad to say it was a total blast of a time! We always push to ride as late as possible to make the summer go by quicker, but this is by FAR the thinnest snow we have ridden on. Land mines were EVERYWHERE and for a significant portion of the day we were riding on only about 1 foot of snow. The weather could not have been beat, BEAUTIFUL day up there with friends and I logged 31.6 miles on:eek::D

We unloaded about 500ft past the Eagles Nest lookout just before the turn in the road and enjoyed almost every square inch of remaining snow. To date it's the farthest up the road we have ever parked for a spring ride.

I guess I'm going to have to reconsider letting anyone borrow my sled....... Luckily no damage (or injury) after sliding 200 ft down the hill just like this on it's side and stopping when the bars (with my camera in the bag) hit 2 trees.

awesome pics seth! im jealous, my sled has been put away for quite some time.

You should come out next year when Todd comes back down again... we always have fun! The logging and fires over the last few years have opened up a LOT of new terrain!
