I just got thru doing main bearings and crank for a friend of mine on a late mdl 800 poo that was just out of warrentee. D-8 I know of two cranks in pro's already just locally!
 
at least ski-doo puts all of there parts and service manuals on line free to use so ya aren't forced to buy them! polaris doesn't do that! all they say is contact your dealer!!!
 
the d-8 only had 2500 miles on it and this was the third time!
 
yep! the split it up into three manuals to actually cover the whole machine!! or at least the last ones i had to buy were!! bUT i CAN PRINT SKI-DOO'S OFF FOR FREE OR GET THE SERVICE cd MANUAL FOR 10.00!!!
 
I've just had alot better customer support with doo!!!! and to me, thats worth alot!
 
I have thought that several times while i'm waiting at the top watching the rest try to make it up!!!!LOL!!!! GOOD TIMES!!!! have a beer and watch the circus!
 
The way I see it is they are all great when they run and they all suck when they're broke!! everyone has their own pref.
 
my one son has a 800 poo right now with the mtr gone and is looking for a 800 doo mtr to put in it!!!! should be good!!!! a POO-DOO!!!! newest wave on the snow!!!!!LOL!!
