Last Minute Help Needed - Track Noise/angle

Just finished up extending my 04 switchback 800 from 144 to 159. Got extensions and a new track from tracksusa. I noticed a few things and I'm curious what everyone thinks. First- the new track is fully clipped, my old one was every third and I notice a definate sound of each and every clip hitting either the hyfax or the nose piece at the front of the skid. My new hyfax sit about 1/16 below the nose piece (nose piece sticks out past the hyfax) Is this common or is it a sign that something is out of alignment?

Second, when I lift up on the bumper and let go, the supsenion holds it in the maxed out position as normal, but when I look at the track/skid from the side the front 4/5th of the track/skid are off the ground, it appears that only the last 6 inches of track touches the ground. When I sit on the sled and get off to check again, most of the track touches the ground. This is probably normal, but whenver I monkey around with the sled, I always worry I messed something up so any advice is much appreciated.

It sounds like you need to let the front of the skid down or the rear mount up. Either with your limiter straps and shock or mounting the front arm an inch lower or the rear bolt higher. The tail of the track should be just off the floor sitting in the shop. Look at a factory set up sled and you will see what I mean. As far as the clicking sound goes, I doubt it is caused by the full clipping of the track. How does the track feed over the extentions and hyfax in the rear? I have seen hyfax cut too long and the track windows will catch on them. If the extentions were not the kind that allow for the hyfax to cover them, is everything clearing on them.

hyfax issues...

I changed my hyfax just a couple of days ago and mine hung down below the nose cone about 1/8 in. so I just took a file and knife and shaved them for a better transition. I can also here my clips hitting the nose cone protectors sometimes.

Letting the front end down or the rear end up would fix the problem, but why would putting a longer or different track change the angle of the skid, or has it always been that way (direct from the factory) and I've never noticed. I trimmed the hyfax correctly, so its not hitting there. I will try trimming the nose cone down to be flush with the hyfax and see if that fixes it. Thanks for your help guys.
