Last Day for Skookum!

Just checking in to remind everyone that today is the last day for Skookum valley. As of tomorrow it will be CLOSED to ALL motorized use. I will look for the map and try to attach it later so everyone can see where the boundry lines are.

Please respect the current forest order and ALL closed areas of the Chugach. We will have a chance down the road to have our voice heard when they revise the Chugach Mgmt. plan.

So, who took off work today to go ride? We were out yesterday and had the only tracks before the next strom blew in. Be safe out there....

BTW, I looked at the map that cnf website posted of Skookum and it's very non descriptive as far as where the south end of the closed area is....

Yea, Area 50 in between Upper Huffman and Area 51 was awesome! It has been such a great year of riding! Thanks Dash!!

...... i'm still mourning the loss of my favorite riding area for the year........ especially considering snow conditions.
