Laramie or Togwotee?

We live in South Dakota and are planning a trip over christmas to either Laramie or Togwotee, we have been to both places. Laramie is about 2-3 hours closer, so is it worth driving farther to get to Togwotee, since they have such good snow. Would like to hear what you think, Thanks.

After the last fiew storms it seems to me that the Snowies has just as good of snow as Togwotee. We were going to take a trip up to Togwotee this weekend, but are debating sticking down here if this storm shapes up to what they are predicting.

If the trip is over christmas. I would go to Togwotee. The Snowies get slammed with people and Togwotee can handle the large increase in riders better than the snowies can.

This one is a no "Brainer" Togwotee.
Laramie has a history of poor weather at Christmas. Lots of wind and it can be a pain in the butt on the other hand Togwotee normally has good weather; it can be cold but the wind is seldom a problem.
Also in the past few years Laramie has become a heaven for " Little P***ks" that hang around the parking lots and show everyone just how fast their cute little sleds can run, Togwotee does not have this problem yet but give them time, we are growing the little A**holes fast :)
Togwotee would be your best shot, a better bet if you get one chance a year to enjoy the mountains, and I notice you don't have a lot of Mountains where you are.

Togwotee! We have spent many days there, even on weekends and never saw anyone until back at the parking lot. Not many parking lot posers either.

Go to Laramie. Togwotee around that time is a fricken circus and it's rather unsafe to be anywhere near there from around 3-5pm. You know, the time everyone starts headin back to the lodge, it's more dangerous on that short ride back then any avy, or mountain slope this side of the himalayas.
