We had a dusting in Keating and the hill was black yesterday. Hopefully it's laying down nicely. Good news...we had to hold off on snow until tomorrow so everyone had enough grass for the girls. Time is up and it's GAME ON NOW
Groomed today, not really rain not really snow. Wet for sure, but it is dumping up above 5500, only about 8 inchs around the warming shelter.
Jay and mark braved the storm, what happened to you????? You guys have a good time over there!!! Becareful the avy danger seems to be something to whatch, lots of good indacators on the hill today. OH thats what those slides where coming off the hill !!!!
Meg had to work...so back to Idaho. Wrenching on Kelley's sled and the pickup today and if things run we are off to McCall next. Prob try to come over your way next weekish depending on snow. Pick between McCall and Keating and go. Want to see your new PRO go.
Were going somewhere Saturday. Is it snowing there tonight? Any idea if there will be enough good snow where we won't have to worry really about hitting things at Catherine creek on Saturday?
No way will there be enough snow to not hit stuff up catherine creek. Not enough base yet. Suitecase said down to 8" at the warming shelter. Were riding the roads sat. see how sunday goes.
We groomed yesterday from the Parking lot at Catherine Creek Summit to the warming shelter. Then went out GlennDenny to the big creek trail, around to eagle creek and on to two color cabin. As we headed back through west eagle meadows, and back to flagstaff. There was about 6 inches of new snow on the west eagle side. The riding is starting to look alot better now. most everything is coverd with good snow. ON the way back to the parking lot we decided to groom one of the lower trails, more of less just to see how much snow there was. I was suprised to find that the trail was very doable in the groomer. So our Access Ride on the 28 should be good up there, and there is more on the way!!
Everynight! this is awesome! Started trying to get the grooming caught up form all this snow today. It is going to be a job just to get the trail system up at Catherine Creek groomed for this weekend. The weather man is calling for more snow most of the week.
I will bet a dollar we have 2 new ft. by morning. as of today we have received 5 ft. in 7 days. 2 more tonight 7 ft. in 8 days. is the makings of a great weekend!!!
Well I guess I lost a dollar, we only received about a foot of new! LOL Just talked to the guys in the groomer that are up there today giving me a brake from that big windsheild. Thanks Willie and Lee.
