I wear Columbia, Nike, Slednecks, Cabela's depending on temps. :D

ToBe is a great alternative to Klim, it is very similar in technical construction, water proof etc. But is a bit more stylish, several dealers picked up the line this year as an alternative to Klim and it is selling very well. check it out on www.tobe.nu

yeah i always thought klim was out of my price range. very nice gear though. if only money was no object..... reima makes some nice stuff. thats what im wearing this winter and last.

I'm gonna be the damned poster child for Klim this year come Christmas I bet.

I think every relative I have is going to get me a Klim something to go with my F4 and Togwotee bibs ... Nevermind the fact I'm getting both my parents matching Klim jackets this year too hahahaha

The bibs are great, I hope the helmet proves to be that way too.

Jay, i'd say it's worth the money they want. I'm 110% impressed with my Togwotee bibs, Klimate parka, balaclava, and PowerCross and Inversion gloves. I used to EXPECT to be wet, cold, and uncomfortable while riding. Now, i'm ALWAYS dry. I'd say i'd rather ride and older sled, and have great gear, than ride a new sled with old gear.:D

So, in short, yes, i'd say it's worth it.

I second that I got it all too and I'm never wet keeps you nice and dry..:D :D

$10,000 sled, $40,000 trucks, $15,000 trailers and all I hear is "Klim is out of my price range" ???? What the heck. Waaaa, waaaa, waaaa, what a bunch of cry babies. Some thing have good "value" despite initial cost, Klim being one of them. Our whole family wears it and I don't have to worry if anyone's cold or wet. Got there dirt bike pant too!!

Klim is good stuff, if you've ever been cold or wet you'll realize what you bought the first time you wear klim.
I've got 2 Valdez parkas, and a pair of Tog bibs, boots, and gloves. I don't like the boots but everything else is great.

As someone who sweats like a pig when riding, I think that Klim stuff is outstanding. Fat guys sweat. You need to get rid of that moisture and the Klim gear does that. Yes, we all look like a bunch of dorks wearing the same outfits, but this is function over form.

*snip* Yes, we all look like a bunch of dorks wearing the same outfits, but this is function over form.

Well unless someone has custom made sled gear just for them, there is ALWAYS going to be someone else with the same gear. ;)

Klim produces good quality gear. :)

I am not dogging on the product at all, I actually think it is a super product and that it does exactly what it is supposed too. The main reason I do not wear it is I get brand new gear from the product I am wearing now every year for very cheap so I have a hard time justifying a change. I also have never had one problem with what I am wearing and frankly Klim is just to boring for me, but a lot of people love that look.

The problem I do have with Klim is there sales reps at least all the ones that I have meet are a bunch a @$$ holes and thats for sure. You can't talk to them about anything without them telling you how great they are and how good there product is. Drives me up the fricken wall dealing with those people on a personal level, like I said I am not doggin on the product in the least bit, but they need to put some different faces out there when it comes to customer interaction!!!

What are they supposed to do? How many sales reps would sell any product if they started out by telling you it is pretty crapy, has no warranty, and will fall apart the minute you use it?

Klim gear works, the warranty is excellent, and I think your mistaking them for being @$$ holes by doing their job.

I would rather spend my money on product made by sledders, for sledders, with my common interests in mind. .02

I was looking at To Be but with their prices I thought why not spend just a little more and get Klim but it looks like they came to their senses and brought the price down a little. Looks like I'll be sportin the Provoke pants.

I need to replace my suit and have been thinking of klim, went online today and it's pretty expensive, is it really worth the money they want?

I didn't think it would be... a jacket's a jacket, right? But after spending the $ on my Tomahawk jacket at the snow show, I gotta say it's worth it. Very well built, waterproof as all hell... now if only it would snow so I could use it for its intended purpose....
