What they will have is generally a much higher pricetag. I'm not so sure that Deere makes any of the under 40hp tractors in the states. I know none of the under 30hp are made here, used to be rebadged Yanmars, think they have their own plant in India making them now, and are currently setting up a factory outside Shanghai.
The Kubotas are tough little tractors. For clearing snow, and other utility work, they are hard to beat. As someone said, if buying used watch for grey market stuff, but buying new no problem. Parts are no problem, long established dealer network and warehousing in the US. Here at work we've got an early 70's B7100 Kubota gave us when we did some work for them back then. It's been used to clear snow with a 6 foot blade, mowed with a 5 foot mower, and generally been pounded on...still going strong with 4 bald tires and a few extra dents.
Deere makes good stuff, but I don't think it's worth the premium they get...
