KUBOTA--L-3400 tractor with loader ??????

Can't go wrong with Kubota! I have had a L175 for years and treated it like dirt. It still runs like champ!

My dad has a BX2200 for the lawn and a Bigger 5700 also, Both are great, never any issues at all.

I will get a pic of the bigger one it is at my place but its dark now so I will get a Pic tomorrow if I get home in the lite.

Kubota's are bullet proof, bomb proof and KID PROOF!

I grew up on a Kubota 35hp 4x4 tractor L3500DT? with loader.

It was too small for the farm we had but we worked the dog snot out of it, full throttle pulling stuff that was too big for it

fed cattle in the winter, always started fine...new ones pop right off

I built dirt bike tracks with it, skid fire wood with it, logged with it and landscaped and tons of hayfield work.

I've rolled it once, the tractor rolled 3 times down a hill. I almost died. we had to get it a new muffler was all that happened lol.

I've jumped it, I don't suggest that, landing was harsh

I wouldn't buy anything other than a Kubota

If your getting a loader, 4x4 is manditory!!! you won't move chit without a loader as the back wheels get so lightweight.

on the farm we did nothin but ABUSE the 35 hp 4x4 loader kubota we had, ity never did die, neighbor bought it and we now have a skidsteer instead, toughest little tractor made i think

I have been in the market for a Kubota for several months now. In particular I've been looking for a M95 so that I can put a 10' snow pusher out front.

The shuttle shift transmission is what has me sold. You can go from forward into reverse in an instant...just like a wheel loader. Very cool

I would already have one but I don't have any use for one in the summer. It would just sit around and collect dust. Oh well, the right deal will come along sooner or later.

I have a MT5030DT. Great tractor. The forward/reverse lever is nice. Mine doesn't have down force, which sucks for post holes. And, I don't have a backhoe for it. Get the biggest bucket you can find. I can put 10 bails of hay in mine, just about right. Make sure you get a 4x4, get stuck in 2 wheel, get unstuck in 4 wheel. You'll want diesel. Get the chains for the 3point, that keeps it from swaying. You'll be dragging the 3 point bars against the tires in every corner, if you don't. Get a bushhog that's wider than the tractor. Makes mowing against fences easier.

Watch out for the Kubota imports from Canada, back in the 90's. They usually don't have a rollbar, and Kubota USA will refuse you service.

Go over and talk to the Sessions boys over at your local JD store. You won't go wrong with green. It will hold its value well.

go to a john deere dealer they can do a side by side compairsion for you deere has more hyd. power and flow. they are also built in the usa, and if you need any parts they are over night and it doesent matter how old it is you can get parts, and service allmost any ware.

I regularly abuse an old '78 B6000 that my Grandpa used on his Christmas tree farm- made it through 4 grandkids using it, and now I still use it for alot of stuff- brushhogging, some landing clearing clean-up, hauling gravel(power wheelbarrow)...That little Kubota is like the little Engine that could- I think I can, I think I can.

thanks for the suggestions--will call the GREEN guys today and se what they have:D:beer;:beer;

What they will have is generally a much higher pricetag. I'm not so sure that Deere makes any of the under 40hp tractors in the states. I know none of the under 30hp are made here, used to be rebadged Yanmars, think they have their own plant in India making them now, and are currently setting up a factory outside Shanghai.

The Kubotas are tough little tractors. For clearing snow, and other utility work, they are hard to beat. As someone said, if buying used watch for grey market stuff, but buying new no problem. Parts are no problem, long established dealer network and warehousing in the US. Here at work we've got an early 70's B7100 Kubota gave us when we did some work for them back then. It's been used to clear snow with a 6 foot blade, mowed with a 5 foot mower, and generally been pounded on...still going strong with 4 bald tires and a few extra dents.

Deere makes good stuff, but I don't think it's worth the premium they get...

typical wyoming--Stopped at the deere dealer and he couldnt give me a price till later this morning---i'm eating lunch and guess my $20,000 is not needed:confused::(:o

If you were looking at deere they have 0% for 48 months right now if you wait a couple months they have a new line coming out there price is right in line with kubota if you compair apples to apples. Deere still has some upgrated yanmars that they sell but they start at 30 hp range with there tractors from hydrostat, to power reverser transmissions. One thing to look at is on a deere the power steering cylender sits behind the front axle in case you find a hidden object, kubota sits in front of the axle so the steering cylender hits first both make great tractors it just depends on your local dealer on how they like to treat people.
